Just a quick thank you for all your prayers as I head off to bed.
The stent was removed and my kidney and urethra tube continue to function! Much relief there!
I had to be put completely under and use a breathing tube; but it was well worth it.
Much exhausted, but just wanted to give all an update.
    Blessings to all

Thanks everyone for the prayers and good wishes!
I'm finding myself quite tired, but in minimum pain. Just such a relief for the pain level to be so low!
My kids are coming home from the grandparents this afternoon. Although, I'll be glad to have them home; that will definitely increase the activity level around here. The daycare kids are back today, too, so the schedule is quickly moving to "normal".
Hoping everyone has a wonderful Friday!

'Sounds great! It also sounds like you won't have unlimited time to rest, though. Take care of yourself!

I feel for you. Six years ago I was in a great deal of pain and found that I had a 6 mm and a 9 mm stone in my left kidney. The 6 mm that slipped down into the top of the tube and caused me to go into kidney failure. I spent four days in the hospital and had to have a stent placed. I then had to lithotripsy two weeks later and again one month after the first one. With both of the lithotripsys I was kept in the hospital for an hour at the most after the procedure and was sent home. I felt much better after the stent was removed but still had pain for quite sometime. I will be praying for you and that you recover well.

Magic, I can definitely sympathize with you! Isn't it amazing how much pain that stent can cause!

I stressed my dh out yesterday morning when I fell flat on my back out on the driveway. I was laying there in the snow thinking "I know I'm a clutz, but come on now!". So now I have brand new bruises and tenderness to deal with. What a way to start my recovery! Oh, well.

Thanks again, all, for the prayers of healing.
