Okay, so dh and I finally agreed to let dd have a party for her 16th birthday. It's less than 2 weeks away. The invitations were already sent. But now...what does one do at a 16th birthday party? Every year my kids have a party around Christmas which we call a game party...board games, acting games, card games. Lots of teens, lots of fun. So a lot of the people will be the same people, and I want this party to be different than the Christmas game party. So does anyone have any ideas? Don't ask me what does my dd want to do because she doesn't know either. We have a nice sized house with both a family room and living room. Basement is not finished and really not party-friendly. Weather is cold up here so I don't expect to do anything outdoors. The party will definitely be at our house since I'm not interested in renting a place. There will be a few boys, but mostly girls. Any ideas? Has anyone done a party at home for a sweet 16?
