This little clip from the movie, "Expelled," is an awesome view of a cell! I hope you enjoy it!

(You have to scroll down to "The Complexity of the Cell" on the right-hand list of movie clips. Meanwhile, an advertisement of the movie may begin playing. You may interrupt that by clicking on "The Complexity of the Cell.")

I should add that Ben Stein is not a Christian.

Neither is Michael Behe, a biochemist at Lehigh University, who wrote Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution. He maintains that the cell & many biological systems are "irreducibly complex" and that multiple systems would have had to arise simultaneously in order for each one to work. He argues that evolution cannot account for the machine-like patters we see in nature.

Whether or not a person agrees with him, I just thought I would give some (of numerous) examples of scientists who uphold the theory of intelligent design. These two are not Christian and so cannot be dismissed as seeing the issue through the lens of young-earth creationists. (Not that that makes anyone any more or less of a scientist. It just shows that it's not any one group who can claim this territory.)

But back to that video of a cell--it's worth a look-see for anyone, regardless of persuasion.
