What is your favorite Christmas carol??? Jingle Bells (2 here) White Christmas Frosty the snowman and dh can't decide How about at your house???
Can I choose Handel's Messiah? Too many great songs in that to pick just one! I'll poll the rest of the fam when they are up and around.
Oh, dear! I'll have to think on that one!!! My first humorous response is, without a doubt!, Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. It's just not Christmas until I hear it! More seriously, I really love three: "Oh Come, Oh Come Immanuel", "One Small Child" (especially the version did my Evie back in the 70's) and an old French song I learned in high school called "Noel Nouveaulet" (not sure about the spelling). It's a beautiful song in a minor tuning, and I have heard an English version, but it loses in the translation. Now that I think of it, all three of those songs have a minor tune; what does that tell you about the music I enjoy?
