Me time: I thought that was when you were at the McDonalds play ground and they were in the tubes. Oh it isn't. Ok thanks for telling me. LOL

Glad you like your Home & Garden items- it is really nice, quality stuff at fairly affordable prices- that's what I like about it- it's not out-of-reach for normal people!

Have fun getting your hair done- I love going to get mine cut and having someone else wash it- how relaxing!

Jackie, we usually curl up each with our own books, but sometimes we read to each other. I like to read out loud when we are traveling, or listen to a book on tape. It's better if I read, though, I tend to fall asleep when listening to a book or watching TV if I don't do something else at the same time (iron clothes, cross-stitch, etc.)!!! Dh and ds laugh at me for falling asleep and missing the end of a movie or TV program...Hey, I figure I can watch it again and not be bored, since I didn't see the end the first time! ;-) I guess falling asleep like that should clue me in to what I need to do with some of my "me time" - catch up on sleep! LOL!

Ds is hooked on Hardy Boys right now. He still struggles with reading, it's a "have to", not a "want to", so we've stepped up our reading to him times and currently his daddy has been reading HB to him. I read Nancy Drew as a kid, so I'm getting to listen to new stories!

I love the "Me time" at McDonald's!!! LOL! Works as a stop gap measure, ladies, but you really need some genuine "me time"!!

    Blessings,

My uncle used to name his cattle "TBone" or "Ribeye" ...once I figured out WHY he did that, I remember crying my eyes out!!

You know, it wouldn't bother me at all! DH likes to hunt deer, and I am quite satisfied (or at least, would be, if he ever actually shot anything!) to eat Bambi! We're discussing "buying" a cow. A HS mom I met at a baby shower grows them. She said we'd be welcome to come and visit her farm with the kids any time we wanted to help feed "our" cow!
