TeacherChat

I see people with "TeacherChat Addict" next to their names when they post. Where is the TeacherChat and can I join it? And are there topics at certain times or just a pop in and visit kind of thing? Lots of love, Carolyn

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the titles under are names are representative of the number of posts that we've made on the board.
For example, you are new and haven't posted often, so you are referred to as "new member". While some of the veterans who have LOTS of posts are called "Teacher Chat Addicts".

I know my teacherchat addict thing came up after I had gone to www.atozteacherstuff.com a few times. It's all in how many posts you make.
Do we earn these here, too?

I know that on your profile right now it shows you as a teacher chat addict - don't know what mine says - used to say veteran (gee, that makes me feel OLD).

I go to atoz a lot and I've seen that over there, too, by many names. I've been posting mostly in this game they have.

 

Hello, my name is Brooke and it's been 2 minutes since my last post....... :lol:

At first I was put off by the "addict" label, but then it got to be kinda funny.....of course the put off part was the thought that someone else has noticed that I check here every time I log on .

Thanks so much, Amanda, for the great forums! I'll see if anything brilliant comes to mind to replace the labels, but I think you are doing a fine job.
