There are so many stories like these, on the news every day! What is happening! Swim Coach News Galveston County Teacher Parkway West Center Teacher ...of course these are not hs teachers, but I am getting tired of hearing this crap on the news about school teachers. There has got to be something they can do to keep this from happening!
Wow. Well, I guess we can be too surprised that people with those types of attractions are drawn to those types of jobs. Very sad for the poor students who are subjected to that kind of authority on a daily basis. When I was in high school, I knew two teachers who had sex with students. The teachers were male. No charges were ever filed. One left teaching and the other just left the school. However, I think the one was never caught. we just all knew about it.
This is terrible. There are so many horrible things going on, and people try to ignore it. Maybe by not dealing with it it will go away. The news loves stories like this. This is unfortunately what sells. We live in a sick society. There are many fantastic PS teachers who are trying to work within the system and they receive little to no acknowledgement. It's the teachers who cause scandal who get the attention. Sad. Sad. Sad.
Thats so sad to read things like that Reaffirms my decision to homeschool everytime I read something like that.
