My "6th grader" should be in 3rd this year. What are the advantages or disadvantages to having him take the Explore test? Are there any programs or scholarships or something out there? How similar is it to the ACT? I remember hearing about this test a few years ago on the WTM forums, but I didn't really pay much attention because he was so little then. What does the Explore tell you... a percentile? A grade level? What?
I just found the website for the Explore, and it says it's a test for 8-9 grade. What's the program for 3rd graders... I know I remember something about that being tied to Explore. Hmmm?
