*-This is our 2nd year hs'ing. At the end of the year I'd kind of like to do some sort of testing to see how we're doing. Honestly, I'm a little scared to but curious at the same time. So how do I go about finding some testing? Anyone have any recommendations!

We are doing the Stanford this year (this is my first year of homeschooling), partly to see how my boys compare with their peers, but mostly to get them experience with testing.

7 years old is a little young for testing. Most people do not start with standardized tests till at least the 3rd grade. From 3rd to 8th grade you might want to consider the PASS Test from Hewitt. It was designed for homeschool parents to give to their children at home. https://www.hewitthomeschooling.com/Testing/tMain.aspx

You can get the CAT test from Seton of Christian Liberty Press. There is also the Terra Nova from Brewer Testing. I think it is good to give the tests young so they get used to them and don't stress the test.
We have done the CAT and the ITBS (Iowa). I could give the CAT test at home and we had the Iowa proctored.
If you don't need it for the state, you can use whatever test you like. The CAT was decent but I liked the breakdown of the ITBS better.

You could find someone who administers the WRAT or PIAT...these are both verbally given, one on one tests that are a very gentle approach at testing.
