i will use your suggestions! i think ds will figure out we have a great time when he just does what he is told and we get done so much easier. actually today we had a really fun day, i know it had a lot to do w/ ds having a cheerufl atitude. for instance today we play ed math games and went on a nature walk collecting leaves after reading a great book called "The Flower Hunter" which was also history because it is a true story about John and William Bartram, botonists. it was all shoot from the hip, make up as i go kinda homeschooling but it was fun. i dont think i could be that creative everyday, but i plan on doing it that way at least once a week to break the text book kinda routine. thanks again for always helping me w/ my worries!! i am gaining so much confidence to hs!!
