This is half praise report and half really cool stuff. So I'm posting it here instead of Christian Issues. Background: Long story short, we had two adult cats (brother and sister) and 4 kittens that we didn't want. Well, DH wants to keep the gray kitten. So really, 5 cats that needed homes. I convinced my friend that she needed 2 kittens as barn cats to combat the mouse problem. Then the momma cat died (we think, she's been gone for 2 months and there was a bad smell under the house). I still had to find a home for the uncle cat and one kitten. I finally had some time to invest in sitting in a parking lot with a "free kitten" sign but wanted to worm her first. And it was time to worm my dog, so we figured we'd worm 'em all and be done with it. Trasi, my friend with the barn that "needs" barn cats, can get the wormer from her vet cheaper than taking them in. She stopped by the office today and while the receptionist was ringing her up, she stopped to take a call from a lady wondering if the vet's office had any kittens to get rid of. They didn't, but Trasi picked up on the conversation and she told them to give her my phone number. So this woman calls me and says "I hear you have kittens to get rid of". I was really confused, since I haven't advertised or anything. lol. So I told her what I had and she said she didn't really care. She just needed some barn cats. So I'm giving her two kittens and Trasi is going to take the other kitten and the uncle cat! So tomorrow I'll be rid of all but the one we want to keep!
