November starts our fourth year of offical homeschooling. After four years I still haven't found that 'perfect' program. DD9 my booklover, DD5 my video lover and my DD4 still runs around and plays because it's easier that way then to pin her down to school.
I have gone workbook, own thing, living books curriculum and back to workbooks again. My poor 9 year old. She's my guinie pig but she hasn't complained too much.
Next fall we may not be homeschooling but that is too far to decide yet. We have to move first and get a taste of being on our own in another country while daddy is off to sea.

I've never found a perfect curriculum either! I try to base it off of the kids interests and learning styles. Some curriculum works for awhile, then they need soemthing different. This is our 12th year of homeschooling, and I've changed around a few times. My kids wouldn't do well with the same curriculm all the way through---I've tried! So don't feel like you're alone in that, just keep using what works best. I stick with one thing as long as possible, for consistency, but if my child starts hating what they're doing, when they're otherwise doing fine, I'm not going to force them to do it. There are always other avenues to try to get the same thing across to them, and in a way they enjoy, or at least can tolerate without fits! :)
