I am soooooo gald it got there Next on my list is Hippy Chick....if she's still out there. I will pm her and just check she's still in on it before we send it on. After the long delay, I will contact each participant before sending it to them, just to be sure.
Oh YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! I'm SOOOO glad it got there! WooHoo! Karen, When I did my little thing like this with the stuffed animal, There was a delay like this at one place. I was about to give up hope when I heard from the lady again. Her husband had gotten very sick and was hospitalized in another state! Anyway, it got through, and 8 months after I started it we got it back! It was awesome! I'm excited to see how this goes and will look forward to seeing it when it gets finished! BTW, our local newspaper was looking for stories of interesting community things happening, so I e-mailed them about it, and she called me right back and said it would be a great story, so when I got the stuffed animal dog (Chinook) back, she came out and interviewed the kids and me, and a photog. took pictures, and it had the whole front page of the community section of our paper! It was cool! So, I was thinking that YOUR paper may be interested in something like this! What I liked about it was not that my kids got in the paper neccesarily, but that it was a very positive story about homeschoolers! Just something to think about!

Oh sorry, I did get it and forgot to let you know. We finished our part yesterday and will get over to the post office today to mail it on. Of course, it is a holiday weekend, so it probably won't get there until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week!
This is Labor Day weekend. The actual holiday is on Monday...the schools are closed, as well as all the banks, post office, government buildings, etc.
Goodie! It is alive and well. Hopefully we get it before you all are expecting to see white stuff around Christmas - that ain't goin' happin' downs heres in TEXAS. ROFL Fun Stuff!
