It is sort of like TOG --you can incorporate several subjects from history: art, architecture, music, logic.. and some others. Those would be for 1/2 credits and they also use IEW for a full credit.

    OK...

    There are 5 levels:

    Discovering the Ancient World
    Expansion of Civilization
    Rise of Nations
    Age of Revolution
    Final book to be announced

This program can be as light or meaty as you wish. It is research-based so you will need resources for them; ie the library. If you are planning on using this through HS then I would not skip any books and prob start in the 7/8th grade. As each book will last for a full 1 year.

It is also pretty pricey at $195.00.

There are extras you can choose not to purchase and use the library for; books, magazines, videos, etc

(kinda reminded me of MOH or SOTW, where 'if you wish' you can go into further depth of study)

Is that $195 for each level? Is this just for history, or does it include other subjects as well?

That is my understanding, I was hoping someone on here had some experience with it.

Sorry I don't have experience with it and got confused! If you have those choices, then it doesn't seem too expensive to me! Looks like some decent possibilities.
