What shows do you watch with DH? We really enjoy watching Lie to Me on Fox and Two and Half Men. We are going to give Chicago Code a try as well.

    Big Bang Theory.

Mostly because those people are our friends. ;)

We are major TV junkies as a way to wind down at the end of the day. Here are a few I can think of.

    House
    Lie to Me
    NCIS (regular and LA)
    Blue Bloods
The Good Wife (DH's fave lately)
    Harry's Law
V (DH likes and I can tolerate)
The Cape (ds likes to watch this one as well)
No Ordinary Family (another ds likes)
    The Mentalist
Criminal Minds (although lately this is a last resort as it is so dark)

Lately we like Pawn Stars and American Pickers on one of the history channels (I think)...these are also ones ds can watch with us.

The list goes on, but that is what comes to the top of my mind.

DH always has "his tv" on when he's home. It's at his desk, but in the dining room. So I end up watching whatever he puts on. It's usually Pawn Stars or whatever else History has on.

I DVR my shows and watch them after he goes to bed (early.. since he goes to work at 5am).

We don't have TV and get all our shows off Netflix or internet, so that both opens and closes some door. We try to watch the things that we would not watch with the kids, so last year we did True Blood and The Tudors and LOVED them - but you have to be OK with gratuitous sex and violence. It is for the story so it works, but those are pretty rough - same with Spartacus (I love historical pieces). Right now we are watching Weeds, which is a really messed up show but with GREAT characters, and Law and Order: UK, which is an unbelievably neat twist on the show franchise. We do one or two shows a week as "date night."

We LOVED the Tudors as well!

I really am not a tv watcher, but my dh IS.

Together we watch Deadliest Catch every spring, then occasionally 2 1/2 men. We used to watch a few other shows as well, but when they put on all repeats we tune out.

We do try to watch the occasional movie together though :)

We are currently mainly watching entire series we stream or get on DVD. We just (re) watched Firefly, and will be starting season 8 of MI-5 tonight (yay! been waiting on this!).

We got started because last year our pastor got us intrigued to try Lost, and we got hooked and watched one episode after another, first to very last.

Other than that, we watch Chopped (really), Good Eats, um....Leverage. When it's on. Which isn't much.

We don't watch much TV. But we DO watch Masterpiece Mystery on PBS. Other than that, we often watch DVDs...old movies (The Maltese Falcon last night!), or different mysteries. He loves "The Thin Man", so I bought him the collection one year for Christmas. I also bought him the Lord Peter Wimsey/Harriet Vane collection, and this past year got him some Dr. Who dvds.

DH usually watches the Speed channel, and he and dgs 5 LOVE watching Barrett Jackson's car auctions! DH also likes the hunting and fishing shows on Versus, Sportsman, and RFD, and one other "outdoors" channel I can't remember the name of. So whenever dgs is here with us, they have a testosterone festival in one room, while I watch other stuff in the den. I love House, Bones, NCIS and Los Angeles, CSI (the original), The Mentalist, Lie to Me, Chopped, Top Chef, The Next Iron Chef. Blue Bloods, The Defenders, and I liked Outlaw but it seems to be gone. And Jeopardy! which I MUST dvr now because it comes on at like 1230 at night. And believe it or not, I'm a big fan of DeGrassi on TeenNick.

We can watch together: Primeval, The Naked Archaeologist, Pawn Stars, Auction Kings, American Pickers, Hardcore Pawn, Alaskan Gold Rush, Doctor Who, and Deadliest Catch. Also Oddities, How It's Made (and variations thereof), and Mythbusters. We also can watch really old movies on TCM and AMC and such. We're not big on team sports, but we did watch a couple of Saints games!

We're old. We have no children at home, and when dgs is here, I don't put on my dvr'd stuff like crime dramas. That's why it's on dvr, so I can watch it when I want to.

I dont have but about 4 channels so I am limited. We usually dont turn on the tv till around 6 or 7 in the evening and when it stays light outside a long time we dont turn it on at all. Here is what we currently watch:

    Criminal Minds
CSI and all the spin offs
    The Mentalist
    Two and a Half Men
Big Bang Theory (i hated this show at first and now i find it hysterical!)
    Kitchen Nightmares
Live 2 Dance (finals were last night)
    American Idol
Family Guy (yes I know it is horribly tacky and crude and vulgar but it is one of our favorites - don't judge me)

I would prefer to watch HGTV, Discovery, History, NatGeo and TLC but we dont have that option now.

CSI, Criminal Minds, House, Bones, Smallville, Royal Pains ... we used to watch L&O, but they're all so similar that we don't watch them anymore. There isn't any surprise like there used to be.

I don't really watch TV, except for English soccer on Saturday mornings - and there's no way my wife will watch that! We do watch occasional movies. For example, we watched 'The Count of Monte Cristo' together a few nights ago.

I am a firm believer that hs'ing will become illegal, possibly before Phillip graduates, and most certainly before many of the children represented on her do.
