Well, We don't know much more about my husband other than he can't work anymore. We did get the test results in the mail and one of them is marked abnormal. Doctors office won't call us back to discuss them. We do, however have an appointment with an endocrinologist on the 23rd of September so I'm sure we will know more then. As far as my job goes, I GOT THE FULL TIME POSITION!!!! TOTALLY doing the happy dance!i am now the bread winner for my family. GOD IS SO GOOD!! This job is one that I have prayed and prayed about. This is my second go around being employed there and I LOVE IT!!! The last time I was there, the pay was minimum wage.. NOW the county has taken over and the pay is WAY BETTER and BENEFITS!!!! Got blue cross blue shield with dental AND vision for my whole family for less than $400 a month. I couldn't pass it up!! My husband still has his health insurance from his previous employer. Not sure what the deal is with that, but he will be double covered beginning in October. AND I was able to get life insurance for us both included in the package for FREE.. I left the courthouse in tears of joy and cried my eyes out in front of my boss. It was a little bit embarrassing, but I just couldn't help it. It was SUCH A HUGE RELIEF!!! My mother in law has stepped in and agreed to pay our electric, water, and gas bill until my husbands disability kicks in. I'm pretty sure we could make it on what I make, but it sure has been a HUGE HELP! My church family did give us money to purchase school clothes for the kids, but we are so frugal that we had over half of it left. I'm a BIG HUGE fan of goodwill. We go often and only purchase the "good brands" My 14 year old daughter has had many compliments on her clothes and has been asked where she gets them. LOL. Anyhow, We are SO VERY BLESSED!!! I pray that soon I am where I can help someone out who's in a difficult situation the same way that we have been helped. We do NOT expect it. And it's VERY HARD for us to accept, but I praise God for people who love us and care about us. Just knowing that we are being prayed for means so much!!!! Keep praying for my boys. Everything that our family is going through is wearing on them. Even though they know they need to rely on God they are looking for other means to fill the voids and help ease the anxiety. We are considering sending my oldest son to Teen Challenge and my younger son, who is 16, came home with a tattoo the other day! It's professionally done, but without our consent. it looks decent.,I just wish he would have waited to do it. And wouldn't have lied to his dad to get out of the house to get it done. So now we have a huge trust issue with him. He is also wanting to move out and I'm completely sick about it!! We are all feeling the pressure and will be going to a Christian family counselor in the very near future. We have been talking with our pastor as well as the youth minister about it all and my 16 year old is on his way to Galveston with our former youth pastor who knows what's going on. We are trying to surround ourselves and our children with Christ centered people right now. Satan is really trying to pry his way in, which tells me that he KNOWS something GOOD is about to happen and he wants to stop it.. So please pray for us! Thanks so much for reading this SUPER LONG post. You guys mean more to me than you will ever know!

Mommi... Amazing news about your job! Congratulations:) I'm so glad things are looking up for you guys. You were overdue.

Goodwill is AWESOME! About 60% of the kids at Elle's school were on the assisted lunch program...we live in a sort of rural stressed area....and I was so thrilled to learn her friends were just as excited by a trip to Goodwill as the mall. The girls would try all sorts of things on and find a few "gems" in the racks:) I could not believe the beautiful things they found! Gorgeous stuff. Takes a little searching...but if you're patient, you can find amazing bargains.

Not only is Goodwill a really smart frugal move....there are two other things I love about it. They provide jobs for people who might otherwise not be able to get work, and the act of recycling all that stuff...is SO good for the planet:)

More than half of mine and Elle's wardrobe is Goodwill and garage sales, and I don't think there's a thing wrong with it. It puts a few extra bucks in Elle's college savings so she doesn't have to be in debt at the end......that's just smart spending. We call it "GW Boutique" :)

Prayers for your family, for your new job, and as always for your hubby's health.
