Please pray for my Mother In Law. She is the most precious lady you will ever meet. During the last 10 years, she has battled Leukemia and God has saw her through it. She has lived longer than most people have with the type of Leukemia she has. God made a way for a new medicine when her first medicine quit working. Unfortunately, last year, she was diagnosed with Uteran Cancer and had a complete hysterectomy. She was told she was cancer free, but her cancer doctor told her today that he believes her Uteran cancer has spread. We will know for sure hopefully by the end of this week. She has been through several test and has dealt with this for over a month. We do not know how bad it is at this time or exactly what it is. Her doctor is guessing. She is in tremendous pain and is sick and weak. Her stomach is swollen twice its regular size. Please pray for her (pain & answers to what is wrong) and our family as we deal with this. I will be telling our 3 girls tomorrow. THis will be so hard on them, but I know God will see them through. Thank you all for your prayers, Melanee
I will pray. The waiting and wondering can be so hard, and I pray that you will have peace as you wait.
Oh Melanee, that is so hard to deal with, I know! When my grandma, whom we all love and adore, was in that shape, it was so hard! That's when my verse below became so special to me! It's my favorite verse and applies to so many situations! I will be praying for your mil and you and your family!
Thank you for reminding me of John 14:27. I really needed that tonight. Nothing has really changed. She is still in tremendous pain. Thank you for your prayers. I will try to give you all an update tomorrow when her test results come back. Blessings, Melanee
 She has cancer again. It is in her liver and colon. The doctor told her she must have chemo to beat it if it can be beat. She is 78 and I am not sure she will accept the chemo or if she does have the strength to fight it, but I know God can work miracles. Please keep her in your prayers and our family. My girls are really taking it hard and I would appreciate anyone who has dealt with this giving me any advice on how to help them cope with this. Blessings, Melanee
Melanee I will be praying for your MIL, you are right to wonder in regards to the Chemo my mom chose not to take it for the same reasons. Even though it did not work for her, this time she had her time of miracles, I believe in Miracles!
I am sorry this is happening. My grandma suffered from cancer in the same areas as your MIL. She suffered for many years with cancer. It is a painful thing to watch anyone go through. Your family is in my prayers. Patty
My mother also had uteran cancer. I saw the effects of the chemo and it was painful for me to watch. Mom has been with the Lord for 8 years now. I also believe in miracles, but remember the Lord knows best. Visit her as much as your family can. If you can't visit, talk with her daily. Just be there for her and each other.
We are a little confused tonight. Yesterday morning my MIL medical doctor told her that she was pretty much going to die and to go home. It upset her so bad (us too). Today her leukemia doctor came in and said that if it is the cancer he thinks it is treatable. She had two biopsies done today and a quart of fluid pulled off. She has a tumor in her abdomen which is wrapped around her colon and several lymph nodes and spots on her liver with this cancer. He encouraged her to fight and she has decided to fight. It will take a week to find out the results of the biopsies . We are praying for a miracle. She has been eating a liquid diet and was able to eat a cheese puff today. She was so happy. Looks like she will come home from the hospital tomorrow. Unless they are going to run any more tests there is nothing else they can do for her there. Blessings, Melanie
