Here is a site where you can order a cookbook of the president and first ladies favorite cookies. It also has a bite of history to go along with it. Each recipe has been carefully researched. Crystal We have coloring books on the Pres. however if you go to www.whitehouse.gov you can go to the kids site and there is tons of coloring and fact sheets I do mean tons!!!
You know, Jackie, you touched on something that burns me up. I cannot stand how some creepy individuals use legitimate subjects to lure unsupecting people to look at filth. When I was researching playsets i would type in 'wooden playsets' or something like that. I usually only looked at the first five or ten results. I was stunned when one result linked you to a site involving young girls. The initial information about the link was all about playsets, but once you clicked on the link, you went to this entirely different place. It turns my stomach. I wish there were a way to crack down on this stuff.
I know, which is why I posted the warning. I've a book above my computer I bought at a homeschool convention of websites on just about every subject you might want for your schooling. She also updates it quarterly. When I bought the book, it came with a very LARGE sticker on it, warning us to immediately mark off one of the sites. It seems the people had allowed thier math site to expire, and a porn site bought it. So people were going there looking for math and finding other stuff instead! I know I've done searches for rather innocent stuff and got some interesting results. Fortunately, most of them I could read from the descriptions NOT to go there!
