Is there a used book store chain in the states? Any favorites in the SO CAL area, Annapolis or DC? We're going stateside this summer and could really use some more books.;)

    Thanks!

Around here we have Half Price Books. I used their store locator and they do have a few in CA. Here is the store locator so you can have a look at where they are. Also if you tell them you are a HS teacher you can get a discount card that gives you an extra 10% off.

Half-Price books is the most popular, however we have several here though only Half-Price is a chain store, so I'd say to look up the area in google for used book stores.

Thanks! I hadn't heard of either of those stores so I'll be sure to add them to our list of places to stop. It seems the CA ones are only in Northern CA, but we'll be in the Mesa aread of AZ too, so perhaps that will work.
