Mine was going to go out today! Our local post office closes at 11:00 instead of 12:00 - wish I knew that before I bundled all the kids up to go out! UGH. I was so upset, I actually cried! I mean, I know I have to send it Priority, but I'm fearful if I send it Monday it won't make it by Wednesday. BWAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! The one that's further in town is open until 4:00 IF hubby gets home early enough- I'm going to try to run it over there. Wish me luck!

MINE GOT OUT! YEAH!!!! Hubby got home in time, and that post office was actually open until 4:00... The guy said I had to send it Priority to guarantee it be there by Weds....but then said, it will probably get there by Monday! I'm so happy! I just hope I picked good treats!
I got the jackpot in goodies in the mail today! Not only did I get my valentine box, I got a box from my secret sister, a birthday card (with money) from my dad, and two cookbooks in the mail, my husband asked to see all the bills, I said there isn't any, its ALL for me! LOL.
Amy, sounds like you had a wonderful day. Take the money your dad gave you and go buy something you need when you go shopping with your mother.

Yeah, I'm hoping mine gets to my person tomorrow also! But I'm sure we all are just having fun, and it doesn't matter really when it gets there, just that it WILL get there sometime and how fun it will be and how nice that someone would do that! :love:

My Valentine buddy should receive hers tomorrow if all goes well with the US Postal Service. I am excited about it!!! It isn't anything fancy but we still had a great time packing it. I wonder if my person knows who she is. Did that make sense? Before I received my package I kept trying to guess the person who was giving to me. I never figured it out. Then the post man came honking and I knew it had to be my package!!! I will not share what I received yet, but I will say that I have enjoyed a portion of it already. Patty
We got ours Thursday!! THANK YOU!!!!!! I was in a really really bad mood until we went to the p.o.!!! When we saw a key for the post locker I had no idea that we would get our goodies so soon! Our box was AWESOME!!! Many thanks to our valentine buddy and her family!! We sent ours out Friday!!! This was SO MUCH FUN!!! Thanks Kris!! You did a FABULOUS job!!!! OK, according to my calendar, today is Lincoln's birthday, and NEXT Monday is President's Day!!! So we will be waiting for the mailman today!!!
