I need to vent and ask for prayer. This will be long. #1 Elijah went to a church block party. 4 boys (ages 12,10,9,9) busted up his bike - let the air out of his tires, broke the hand brakes and broke the plastic chain protector. Police were called, boys denied it. End of it? We cannot have anything around here that kids won't destroy!!! When Elijah and his friend went to go swimming after all this, they found big dirt globs in the pool I had just finished getting it all cleaned out from the storms that we had. I need to sell this place. I hate it here, the kids cannot even go for a bike ride without the neighborhood kids doing something crazy. #2 I went to the dr. yesterday for a bone scan, mamo and yearly exam. I have osteoprosis (sp) in my left hip, blood in my stool and when she did the internal exam, she felt something and I felt something. She immediately had me go to an ultrasound (in the same building). Nothing on my ovaries, so now she thinks it is in my colon. With the blood in my stool, she made me schedule a colonsocopy. That will be July 8th. Please pray that we #1 sell the house, #2 find a house that will be in a better neighborhood and #3 that all these test will come back ok. (my mom died of ovarian cancer and my dad had colon cancer. Thanks for letting me vent.
Prayers here! Btw young lady, I'm going to get you! I thought we had a new lady on here! How did I miss your name change! I wish you lived closer because Joyce needs some company. Me too for that matter! I had hoped that things would have gotten better, not worse in the neighborhood. Keep us up on your appts!

I had a weird dream the other night that I was trying to get back up to NY and just couldn't get there. I mentioned to my sis and she said my nephew asked her (around the same time) if we had plans to visit up that way! I honestly don't know if I could go back to Northern winters after being down here this long!
I will spend time in prayer for you. My heart broke to hear of such things happening AND at a CHURCH party?! Lean on Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Praying also that whatever health issues you are experiencing that you have a sense of God's deep love for you and that you feel HIS peace during this time.

I am so glad you switched your name! Bill always called you Elijah's mom anyway. So sorry to hear about the trouble with the neighborhood. I am praying for your place to sell and a new home to be shown to you right away. You deserve some peace from all this nonsense. And if Jennifer moves up your way I am going to be so jealous! Thanks for all everyone's prayers. Beth, we would love to come down for a visit, but with the price of gas, we probably won't make it for about 2 years. I am saving for that trip We will be going to Myrtle Beach. That is what is planned. Just praying to sell/auction this place off and get out of dodge.
OhioMom, when I seen your name I thought we got a new one on here, sure glad you changed your name. I hope you sell the house and find some place great for you all. Hay want to move down here the house next to me is up for sale. When do you want me to come and help you move. Also will be praying for you and hope all your test turn out ok. I think the commute is too long for Don's work, but thanks for the invite, Kris. I can't talk him into retiring, yet. He might have to. Thanks again everyone for your prayers. My dh and I have decided to auction the house and property off. My health, that will be known July 8th.

Kris, if Don is anything like my husband, there's NO WAY he would get in a PINK jet! You'd have to re-paint it camo! (Oh, I'm back, btw! EARLY, but that's a story in itself! I'll be sure to tell y'all once we've recovered!!!)
