There has been a lot of violence in TJ here in recent months.In the last month there have been 200 or so murders. Most of those involved in the violence are part of the drug trade or those trying to shut down the drug trade. Things have been esculating. My girlfriend just called and asked me to pray. There has been a threat that 5 kids from each school will be kidnapped and the scools are shutting down . My friend was on her way to pick up her daughter. Sorry I don't have more details. But Please pray.. Safety for the innocent Widom for the leaders and parents repentence and salvation for all Thank you so very much !! The Lord has been impressing on me A LOT lately that Because of Who He is to trust Him no matter what is going on around me. This hasn't been easy the last few weeks. Please pray for us Too.
Thank you for praying !! The news on the net is saying the threat was a rumor. True or damage control? I don't know. Schools were closed and kids sent home. The drug Cartel is killing many people and there have been shootings within 5 min of my house, in places we normally pass by , and they are occuring durring daylight hours...I'll post more when (if) I hear anything more about the school threat. Singing Strong, "Half my heart" is in Mexico. It seems almost like another lifetime ago; but once my husband and I were missionary helpers in Southern Mexico, and I tutored some missionary children--maybe a prelude to homeschooling our own! The conflict between good and evil is palpable, but know that even your presence there is breaking down "strongholds."
