We're in the midst of yet another lesson and this time it involves Andrew and either a psychiatric assessment or respite/foster care for a short period of time. I can't go into details right now, but please pray about this for us. Brenda
I don't even know where to begin right now. The original situation has been resolved (to the best of my knowledge anyway). Andrew won't be going in to foster care (not temporarily or permanently). As for the assessment, we still don't know anything more about it - it isn't looking likely. Abnother child at the school who is the same age as Andrew was refused admission to the unit because of his age and so I suspect the same will happen to Andrew (and the other child has a diagnosed disorder far more troublesome than Andrew is dealing with). However, having said this, we are far from out of the woods right now (I'd go so far as to say deeper in them). We had a situation present this weekend (Mother's day no less) that could potentially rip this family apart. It could cause public humiliation for one of our boys and for Tracy and I as parents - we live in a small community - if the wrong person hears the story and spreads it via the rumour mill...we're toast. I can't say much more about it, other than to say that I'm not coping with what is going on and one of the boys isn't coping all that well either. Please pray for protection, strength, wisdom and right now for the truth to come out so that the issue can be handled accordingly and we can move on with our lives. Brenda
I'm sure being guarded with your words right now is a challenge yet wise. My heart is going out to you and yours, girl. Let me know if you need to talk. Praying right now...
Brenda, I will pray for you, I know how it is when you live in a small town they can be nice and they can be headache. I hope and pray all works out for the best for you all. Hang in it has to get better.
If you're ever feeling like toast babe, you come on over and we'll get out the playdough. I know it's hard, and you've been through the mill lately... hang in there. We're always here for you.
