Hello all, My family and myself need your prayers. I feel we are under attack. I have been sick for so long. I am having my 5th surgery March 5, and would appreciate your prayers. But unfortunately, I have another prayer request that is closer to my heart. My daughter Amber, she was diagnosed with JRA when she was 18 months as most of you know, has developed a rash on her cheeks. Her pediatrician has warned us that this may be a sign that what she actually has is Lupus. She will be tested on Thursday. Please keep her in your prayers. This is so much on a 13 year old girl. My other girls are having a rough time with this too. Thanks for all your prayers, Melanee
Melanee, I am praying! This must be so hard to go through, I'm so sorry it's happening! Keep up your faith! God is stronger and will win in the end! Meanwhile, know you are being thought of and prayed for! (((((BIG HUGS!!!))))) Please keep us updated so we can pray for what specifically is happening! See my Bible verse below!
That is a lot to face--for all of you! I'm praying that the doctors will see the situations clearly and that your treatments will be totally successful. In the meantime, in spite of everything, may your hearts be knit even closer together in love. I'm praying for some real special, shiny moments for you all--that some day you'll be able to look back and cherish as a wonderful memory.
Thank you all for your prayers. I read your verses and encouragement and I truly was uplifted. I really needed them today. 2 of my girls have had a viral infection and now it looks like I have got it too . I am looking up to God because I have no where else to look for help. I can not understand how anyone can go through these type of situations without Him. I will keep you posted as I can. Blessings, Melanee
When it rains it pours, doesn't it, friend? It's always hard to see your little ones suffer. I'll be praying.
Yes, Becky, when it rains, it does pour. Amber's test results will not be back until next week . I know God says He will not put on you more than you can handle, but this is getting pretty hard to deal with. I am trying to remember that God gives us challenges to strengthen us and sometimes to help us help others who go through something similiar. I am praying that all will be fine with Amber and after my this next surgery we can put all of this behind us. Thank you all for your prayers. I know they make a difference. Melanee
Still praying. My sister was dx with lupus this last year. As an adult it has been hard. I have also came back with a positive of lupus. But have not had any major problems in years. Just the joint pain. As a child this has to be so hard. Gentle hugs to her and big momma bear hug to you!!!
We've been going through that here too. The fever was horrible. Ds6 (almost 6) had a fever of 104 and you'd have never known it. He was playing hockey in the kitchen with his brother. I'll keep your family in my prayers. Hopefully it passes soon. The fever has passed here and now they are left with the horrible cough.
Oh no! I have been exposed to the flu!!! My youngest got up last night with her heart just racing. We had no idea what was going on. Turns out her fever was spiking. I took her to the doctor today and found out she has the flu!!! With surgery coming up, this is not good!!!! ON the humorous side though, I wore a mask to the doctor's office and people were really funny about it. One of the mom's had a nurse come to me and ask why I was wearing a mask. When I explained about having the surgery next week, they all did not blame me at all for it. Please keep us in your prayers. Blesssings, Melanee
Decorate that mask! Lol- when I had strep and had to protect Jeannie from it I put stickers on one and drew a big, toothy smile on the other . I was so mad at having icky strep that I wanted to find a way to make fun of it. Plus, it entertained baby Jeannie at the time.
