Sorry I have so many questions about curriculum but it can seem so overwhelming. Does anyone have any experience with weaver or any other bible based (preferrably economical) complete curriculum. everyone has been soo helpful. I hope I can be as helpful someday after I get a few yrs of hsing under my belt. So thanks in advance for any info. God Bless, Candyce
I looked at weaver a few years ago and it seemed very slow, too slow for my kids. It could have changed since. Sorry I'm not much help.
Christian Liberty Academy has a whole curriculum. You can buy the subjects separately or in a bundle for the whole grade. I went to their Bible section, and that's what I am posting for their site, but you can look at other things from there if you like. They print many of their own books (Christian Liberty Press), so have a much lower overhead, which translates to lower prices for people like us! Don't feel bad about asking questions, that's one of the reasons we're here! Ask away! http://ebiz.netopia.com/clpress/bible/
Alpha Omega does too, aop.com and its economical as well as they give you a trial period that is longer than the others. Some find their work boring but it took as a lot of years to change because we like the lessons, its just the same old look that got boring for me! The lessons are very interesting, they just need a new way of packageing them as the years grow , so our kids can grow with the lessons? We actually chose Life Paks for the reasons you mentioned, Bible Based and ecconomics. CHEAPEST ONE WE COULD FIND In a complete set with Teacher stuff and alL!
Deena! I am now looking at thier work with my dd in mind... have you used thier Grammar lessons on your older two? Also the literature? I am looking at the 10th grade World Lit. This is a great link! I was looking in my catalogue thinking of some of it but computer locations seem easier for me to understand haha!
