Well, week one at school is about over.
The teachers have been very welcoming and kind to Jeannie. She likes all them, too.

Recess sucks out loud. Jeannie is one of three girls, and they go off by themselves, so Jeannie is by herself each recess. The boys are too goofy, she tells me, lol.

She has forgotten homework twice now. I was able to bail her out omce by finding a sample online, but I told her I won't do that anymore.

I would like to throttle her dad. All 6 years we hs'd, he never asked about her day, her work, or any of that. Guess what his first three words are when he sees her??

As for me, this week was about getting used to freedom. I got a ton done for GS. I just still feel like we should be starting each day. I guess that will take some time to go away..
