Personally I would be furious if they did that to my kids because its ok to keep other kids safe on the road to cross but not a homeschooler? especially not my kid? Let us know what happens Sam
Let us know what happens when you call. I think you should inquire more about this. I was crossing once with my kids near a school zone last year...and the crossing guard crossed all of us! lol.
Update: Well they finally called me back today and we had along talk. First he was in shock any of his crossing guards would do that. He said they are suppose to cross them no matter what color they are red, blue or green, and there age, 90 to 1. No questions ask. He said they wouldn't just cross them alone or special unless theres no one else. What he meet is they have to wait and cross with all the other children? I told him they were, and she was questioning them because she hadn't seen them before, he said he has some complains about her before and will check in with her and get back with me. I told him we wanted no special treatment but man, why did she have to question them and then tell them she can't cross them again, he said he had no idea, but would find out for me.
That is weird!! At least you know that it was the crossing guards problem and not another dumb law on the books!:roll:
at least some one called you back......... those crossing guards get paid no matter how many they cross.
