Nice to see it's growing in popularity and that kids are making into college at the other end of homeschool too :)

Thanks for the link. I went to the other links within and read them as well. I wonder how many people saw the issues on Oprah concerning PS and what the initiative is from the people on the show. It is really coming to light the problems within the PS system. Maybe it will start America on the road to mending this problem.

That was a good article. Maybe if more and more families do this the public schools will change. (or maybe not)

I read a comment "Have you ever met a homeschooled kid?" "Scary" (or something like that).

This is so weird, because in many cases you would never be able to distinguish who was homeschooled or not without knowing in advance. Also, I have seen kids who were socially akward from public/private schools and homeschools. People are people are people.

On one hand I like this article, but on another if the school was good I would have more time for my self, house, job :(

Yep. I stopped reading after the one who said: "If these parents are so good, and have enough time to home-school their children, perhaps they could be useful as professional teachers."

Like I want to deal with their monster kids:) I can only handle my own, thanks. Don't they get that we MAKE the time? We make sacrifices to have the time. Good grief.
