I decided to go ahead and give it a go. We're jumping into our new curriculum and new year round school schedule on Monday. I'm so excited. Pray that it will work out better than our previous years will (with the loss that our family has experienced losing my dad after 1/2 a year of hs then my dh's cancer and losing him). I have a feeling that this year will go better. Just hoping that ds will be more onboard this time around. I was just so excited that I wanted to share. I also wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your prayers, kind words, encouragement and advice. I am so thankful everyday to have found this forum and all of you wonderful people! Thanks you guys! You've been more of a help than you can ever imagine!
I don't think I have told you this but you and your family has been in my family's prayers. I am glad to hear you are excited about starting year round again!
Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. This will be our first try at year round. I figure that with as much as we missed this year (3 weeks in DEC. because I had burn out from doing it combined with all of the dr. appointments, then February) that we've pretty much had the equivalent of a summer break.
I hope this new year goes smoothly for you! Although we haven't technically started our new school year, Ems already started a couple subjects for next school year. We finished up earlier than I thought we would so I figured, why not!
