Excellent book! I found it at the library here and just loved it. I've always thought the world of Alonzo Mourning.

    What I want for Christmas?

A Day off. I've been fighting a nasty cold for the past week and due to it being the time of year it is I can't get DH to take off work so I can rest and he has had something at church every night.

One wish came true when a kind person sent us a gift card so that we could get our boys presents for Christmas. DH had been out of work and was looking for work...
He recent got hired partime and we feel blessed with this news and the gift from a kind hearted "angel.'

My only wish now for Christmas is healing of my left knee so that I can walk with my boys. My knee has gotten worse and I am unable to walk now without assistance. Today I was told that I cannot walk distances because it will make my condition worse...

I want so much to be able to take my boys for a walk outdoors... I miss that...

I made a gift to me last night.

Two years ago, my mom gave me a kit to make a handprint ornament out of plaster. I forgot about it last year, but I got it out this year and last night mixed up the plaster so my 2yo could put his handprint in it. I did it kind of late, and he was tired, but he was a good sport, and afterward I let him wash his hand for a long time by letting the cool water run over it. He loved that part, so he got a good deal out of it too!

It is really big to hang on the tree. Too heavy, I think.

Merry Christmas to me. I think I will wrap it up and put it under the tree for myself. The kids will like that, thought 2yo won't know what's up.

I'd LOVE for my husband to find a job after all this interviewing, so the financial uncertainty will end.

I don't know what I want either---well, as a Christian, the best gift of all would be for Jesus to come!!! :D

Dream gifts: Enough money to be out of debt, my hubby to have a job where he doesn't travel and is home every night, and a new, larger home with my very own scrapbook/school room.

Realisic gifts: A Cricut (for scrapbooking) and my hubby's job to do well this year so I don't have to go back to work and put the kids in ps.
