My dd is going into the 3rd grade next year and I want to use the Sequential Spelling curriculum. I was looking at it and it is so different then the way the ps has been teaching her. She is a very good speller for the most part but when I read over some of the work she brings home I see where she spells some lower words wrong still. Should I just go ahead and start her on the level 1 book since it is so different than anything else she had done? Or should I try the level 2 and if it is not working buy the 1? What would you all do?
There are no "grade levels" in SS. You can start at Level 1, even in high school if that's where the student is. You can teach adults with it, too.
