Why, rescuing a cat from a tree :lol: No, I'm not kidding. Garrett heard it when he took the dogs out, got the spotlight out from my truck and searched the woods looking for it. Once we found it we got the ladder but he was too scared to go up that high... it was hubby's biggest ladder. Soon a car came up our road, it was hubby's aunt and cousin who live past us on the lane. Luckily they saw us in the woods and hubby's cousin is tall... she was barely able to reach the cat who rode down on her shoulder but bolted the second it was down. It was beautiful, white with some black. I've never seen that one before.... maybe a new dumpee since people love to dump kittens out here.
I almost talked him out of it... he was about to call the fire department... So glad hubby's aunt was coming home that time of night... and was nosy enough to see why we were in the woods lol Looking at the tree in the daylight, it's taller than I thought. I knew we had the ladder extended all the way up and she still could barely reach, but I don't think any of us would have gone up if we could really see what we were doing...lol.
