I think I am going try use SoS for a while and would love to know where I can get it at a discount. I have an on-line source we have been using, and their prices are slightly lower than AOP.

I just wanted to check out some other places. Any suggestions?

Mardel is going to order LifePacs for me (they carry them, but not the 1st grade stuff I want). They can order just about anything. I know that I won't pay shipping, but other than that I assume I'll be paying retail. But I sometimes have coupons and sales, so that will bring the price down when I'm ready.

Short of having a Mardel, I don't know.

I buy thru a few different places. The church we attend has a HS store and I gotten a few things from there, and I have boughten straight from the publisher. Recently I did buy quite a bit from Christianbook.com. Sometime it's just nice to be able to have one bill from one place instead of from A, B, C and D.

    OH!

Our Christian resale book/music stores carry a TON of curriculum. It's all used, but with something like SoS, it's not like there are workbook pages that would be written on.

    I buy from several places.

We use tons of literature and so I buy a lot from used book stores.

I have also ordered from Barnes & Noble.

There is a homeschool store close to me and I bought my history there this last year.

I purchased math from MathUSee website.

I borrow from the library more than anything! Without the library I couldn't afford to homeschool the way I do.

    where we buy curriculum

I would also check out www.rocksolidinc.com
They sell almost everything below "retail" price and you get free shipping when you spend $75+

    I also recommend www.rainbowresource.com

And, sometimes you can find things on ebay, but I don't think they can sell anything with a teachers manual. Unless that rule has changed.

    Also, amazon.com

We get most of our stuff (including our SOS science) from Rainbow Resource.

    www.rainbowresource.com

They have free shipping over $150...which doesn't take long to add up to that amount with my 3 kids.

I ordered from Rainbow Resources and Sonlight for the most part. I also picked up a few things at a local homeschool store, workbooks here and there from Walmart or Sam's Club.

I get most of mine from our convention ( CHEO ) and over the net (freebies) from different educational sites.
