I am thinking about starting a new blog, and can not decide between blogger, and wordpress.com. So I wanted to get some feed back from others on which one is better. I already have a blogger blog, but I have another project that I really want to be nice, and I am starting to hear some pretty negative things about blogger. I have also already had several issues with blogger. So anyone have experience with the other. Thanks for your help.
Wordpress I have a friend that just moved from Blogger to Wordpress, and she says she wishes she had done it sooner, because it's opened up so many doors for her.

I've used both. Started with blogger, went to wordpress, and back to blogger. I just this weekend thought about moving it back to wordpress. Blogger tends to only work as it's supposed to with Google Chrome, which has caused my computer to crash each of the three times I tried it. I want pages, ones that you can actually post on. You can't get that at Blogger.
We started with Wordpress years ago and then went to blogger. I use windows live writer to create my posts and then upload them to my blog. I have learned to create my own blog backgrounds and banner as well as changing ours to a 2 column wide width. There are a lot of tutorials out there for blogger blogs that are helpful. I have only encountered a few problems with blogger but overall I prefer it much more than wordpress.
Blogger is easier to use and great for the person writing their first blog. But when I see a blog that looks really good, it's done in Wordpress. If you use Google ads, they are not allowed on the free Wordpress blogs, so that might be a factor.
