Ava, I think you have too much time on your hands! How is that possible with a little one? Well, you are always welcome to come and clean my house for me!

I read Left Behind. I have a feeling if millions of people worldwide disappear, the atheists (and everyone else) are going to be more worried about other things - even just the nuts and bolts - than earning their $110 by taking care of your pet. But, that's just me, LOL.

That just seems crazy to me! I mean I'm pretty sure they won't really be worried about peoples pets ya know? Not to mention my cats can honestly take care of themselves...someone need only let them out the door.

Look, I don't believe in the rapture so I'll probably be left behind. My husband is atheist and my daughter thinks the Greek Gods are a reasonable possibility so if there ever IS a rapture I hereby volunteer to look after all the HSSpot pets. :D

I can't ever see a cat accepting Christ as it's saviour. Too stubborn.

Havent you ever seen your dog or cat with their front feet up on the side of the couch pressed together looking like they are praying? Though I think my cats would be praying they got the beef with gravy canned cat food over the chicken and tuna canned food. LOL:angel:

LOL!!! Honestly, I wasn't even looking for that...I was so shocked at finding it. Again, I have Stumble Upon...so I can click a button and it just brings up websites and things. It is supposed to bring things up according to my likes and dislikes...I suppose this is what happends when I check off Christian interests. LOL!!!

I know that I am probably a lone voice here but I want to encourage everyone to truly study this subject. I too believed in a "rapture" for most all my life until I began to do some deep study of just scripture and to study the origins of the rapture theory.
The rapture of God's people was never, ever taught prior to 1830. A girl named Margaret McDonald had a "dream" of this happening and two men (Scofield was one) began pushing it. There is even a man (Ron Poch) that will give a $1,000 dollar reward to anyone that can find that teaching by anyone before that time. It just isn't there. Christians was waiting on Christ second return. I am going to post links to some articles for study and one good little video. Remember that scripture says we are to "study to show ourselves approved". I know all the "traditional" teachings as I was taught those for 40 yrs of my life. But when I began to really study some of the beliefs of traditional churches they just did not line up with God's Word. IF anyone wants more info for study just email me. It is so very exciting. The "rapture" will be of the wicked. God will remove the wicked from the earth NOT his people. In every instance in scripture the Lord removed the wicked out of the picture, not his people. Scripture says he will gather the tares first, not his people (wheat). When you begin to see these things in scripture it is so exciting you just want to keep digging in his Word :)
