Has anyone ever been dissatisfied with something you got, but didn't say anything? I got a trim today. I took the picture along that I always give the girl who does my hair. When I gave it to her she put it on her counter and started combing. I could tell by the way she was cutting that she wasn't following the picture, but I kept quiet. She had another lady waiting and I didn't want to create a bunch of static or hold that other customer up. I've been going to this lady for about 12 years now. My hair looks okay, just not how I like it. I've been mad at myself for keeping quiet!
Yes. Though with hair cuts I have actually went back and had them redo it. You could always go to somewhere else with the photo and maybe they can fix it the way you want.
oh yeah! I am terrribly shy and when I was pregnant with Kimberly I had the worst haircut ever. I cried after I left the salon. She hacked it so bad that it wasn't even at all. I keep kicking myself for paying her after that. I should have complained. Thing is that she hacked it so short that I really couldn't even go somewhere else and get it fixed.
I used to work as a stylist in a salon. If I did something they didn't want to didn't do something they did want I would want to know. Especially if I had been doing someone's hair for 12 years! I'd want to keep that client and keep them happy. I would call her and explain and I'm sure she'd be happy to set up another appointment for her to fix it at no charge. That is what I'd do anyway.
Becky, same thing happen today with our RV work going ot talk to our insurance company on Monday... So mad and so sad..
It's not that she butchered my hair, she just didn't do what I asked. She trimmed it up without following the picture. I'm not confrontational, that's the problem. I was remembering what brought me to her to begin with, and it's sort of what Sarah went through. I had been going to this walk in place near my work. One day they put me with this black stylist. Back then, those uneven cuts were popular among the young black ladies, and 'fades' were popular among the young black guys. Well, this one day I got one of those uneven cuts! One side was higher than the other like a champ! She styled it very nicely, but what was I to do when I had to do it myself??She made it big and full like the styles were back then. No way I'd be able to copy that! Plus, it was lopsided. Lol- pretty, but lopsided!
