Ok on my curriculum search still. (I'm about to order Abeka from our hotel mtg in a few days. So I've been looking into the different curriculums, to see if what they have to offer is better for Noah.)
Ok I just looked at winter Promise. It's another literature based curriculum, like Sonlight. As far as I can tell the books are a little more picture book style and they also have a project list for you to do each week, as well as a few movie suggestions to go with your reading. This is mainly just for Science and Social Studies. It looks neat.... Does anyone use this? Whats it like?

Thanks for the link. For Noah I'd be ordering American History 1 or something like that. I'm wondering if we totally switched up our curriculum maybe Noah would be interested in school again.

You know, that's a definite possibility! Sometimes that triggers something and they can move forward better!

I've also heard of the program, and heard good things about it, but I haven't had any personal experience with it.

I might just have to give it a shot. I love Abeka, but maybe it's just not a good fit for Noah right now. (I'll keep Abekas Language since I already have it, and also add IEW to the mix.) Noah mentioned wanting to do more projects and I keep meaning to, but we never seem to do them. In Winter Promise they schedule the projects in their IG. They also sell a project kit, so I wont have to hunt around for too many supplies.
Ok, now I just need to place the order. I might take a gander at hotel meeting just to be sure I want to use Winter Promise next year.

I would looooooooooooove to use WP, but it's just not in our budget. (So, I've no personal experience with it.) It claims to be a CM-style literature based program, and uses tons of hands-on activities. (Just what *WE* need!!)

We'd use Quest for the Ancient World right now... and like Joanne said, used might be a good way to try it out BUT - the company asks that their products (the instructor guide and the notebooks) not be re-sold, so it looks to be difficult to find used.

From what I've seen, I'd recommend it and would love to get a hold of it for ourselves. :)

ETA: I just logged in at the WTM board to find a PM offering QAW to me!! PTL!!
