withdrawal letter not delivered...

    Whenever I send in my letter of intent I go directly to the District Office, not the main office of the school they attend. I have them stamp the letter that it was received with the date on it, then I ask them to make me a copy of the stamped letter for my records. Works like a charm. I have never had a issue.

    That wouldn't happen where I live; they receive too many. But it's a GREAT idea!

    We have to submit a PSA if we operate as a private school. Thankfully the affidavit is submitted online, directly to the state website. We have to keep a copy on hand to show confirmation; this is in case the state messes up. HSLDA suggests we make two copies. I am glad I do not have to deal with the school or district. Our district is NOT homeschool friendly.

    Hubby has received 3 automated calls today telling that Tyler isn't in class. I hope this is because they haven't updated the system yet.. If it happens on Monday I'm going to call and talk to principal again..
