Church was great today! We had a baptizing - 6 new Christians, and two of them were 18/19 years old, which to us is kinda rare. One grandfather, three of his grandkids (ages 19, 12, and 11), another highschooler, and a nine-year old. And then one more at evening church that is also a grandson but he's a grown man with a family. Seven all together, and we've still got a couple more people who have professed their faith and trust but just didn't feel ready to take that "big wet" step today, but we're hoping soon. The grandfather's family all gathered at his house for noon meal after church, and since my dh is that family's deacon (plus we've been friends for about a hundred years too), we got invited too, along with the pastor and his wife and ds (Jeramy, who is again out and about in normal society again!!!!) All in all a most inspiring day!
