It used to be Wall-e every day, then cars, then thomas the train, but not today... no not today it was My neighbor totoro. Thank the stars.... I just can't take anymore trains.....
LOL........... I guess I never had to go through that....... my kids watched the regular PBS kid shows and I didn't mind hearing them in the back ground.
I'm so sick of this same Pokemon episode that it's not even funny. I'd love to watch Thomas the Train for a week. LOL I feel your pain....
LOL Well, our router stopped working and our tv runs through it, so... yeah. I guess I wouldn't mind the pokemon so much if it wasnt the EXACT. Same. Episode. over and over and over for two? three? weeks now. UGH. It belongs to the library, and thanks cuz this thread prompted me to call the library and renew the things we have. It has been a crazy week and a half (almost two) and we just havent been able to get these things back. Thankfully, he was able to renew all the books so we don't owe anything on them - just on the movies, which are all on a single card, so we're okay to keep borrowing. I'll take these back tomorrow. Yay! And then we shall get a new movie of some sort, and I shall try very hard for something other than Pokemon.
Our problem comes when we get Charlie and Lola or Ni-Hoa Ki-Lan... she loves them and our library has such short supply. Even though Charlie and Lola has a huge market in England they don't in Ohio....lol.
I am glad I work in the evenings. The girls are addicted to Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nick. It is a good story but they watch it everynight, if they can get away with it. If not it is americas funniest videos. Sorry I really, really don't like that one.
My son has given up watching and playing with Thomas. I'm actually pretty sad about it...Something I hadn't expected! I keep putting off packing them up in the hopes that he'll pull out the videos or track again.
We are actually just starting to buy the track and trains. I only have one dvd percy's great hits or something like that. The same eight episodes over and over....lol. I'm getting choked up just getting rid of the board books and moving to regular picture books....
oh, i know the feeling, lol. my ds 7 has finally given them up and we donated all 100 of the trains to my aunt, plus the gazillion track pieces, lol. He loved thomas for at least 3 years, and so i have all the songs memorized, lol. but he is on the autistic spectrum, which sometimes causes dc to fixate or obsess (is that spelled right, lol?) on diff things, now it is on to monster trucks and farming, lol. enjoy it while you can, just think it wont last forever, and soon she will move on to disney princess or something more grown up, lol, if you can call the princess grown up. my dd8 is now into Chronicles of Narnia stuff, and the historical american girl stuff as well. At your dd age i think she was in love with Dora, or is it D D D D D D Dora!!, lol.
