I am really interested in the classical method of homeschool and am reading "The Well Trained Mind". The author recommends using "Usborne Book of World History", but it looks like that book teaches from an old earth perspective. Do any of you have recommendations on a similar kind of world history book that teaches from a young earth view? Thanks.

Maybe Abeka? I'm thinking 7th grade, but I could be wrong and it doesn't actually go all the way back to Creation?

Answers in Genesis carries http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/catalog/History-Revealed,381.aspx History Revealed by Diana Waring. History Revealed is appropriate for use in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 1-4 can be included in your family study of history by using the Elementary Activity Book.

They also carry Adam's Chart of History, which covers from Adam to 1870 (originally published in 1871) http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/product/Adams-Chart-of-History-Unbound,5490,224.aspx

Mystery of History. It's chronological, classical, and Biblical. AND you can teach it to multiple grades at once.

Ditto, Jackie. (... and I love the Adam's chart. I only wish it went past the 1800's.)
