She is now over 6'0 tall. It is amazing!!! She also thinks it is funny that she is taller then Mom and Dad. We are 5'11 and 6'0 also.. Oh the joys of finding clothes that are appropriate for a 12 year old. I wish I had learned how to sew..any advice????????????
    Thought I would share.
    Blessings

Wow! My dd is turning 13 next month and is about 5'3. My dh is 6'1 and I'm 5'4". I think that she will get even taller but wow your dd is really tall. I can't imagine trying to buy clothes. I can't help in that department. Hopefully summer will come soon and all you will need is shorts!:p

my oldest dd did the same thing, then she slowed down. Let me know where you find clothes she gets so upset because none of the cute clothes in the girl section fits her anymore. We go to the ladies take the pants in and add our own things to the pants to dress them up.

Oh man! My 13yr old ds is alittle over 6 foot. He has grown so fast that I seem to be buying pants every month or so. His legs go on forever, but his waist is so small. I wish I had that problem lol.

4kidsmom - did you son's feet and legs hurt when he was growing so fast? My son - 6 foot - said just the other day that he remembers his feet and legs hurting when he had his growth spurts. He's 33 now.

Ohio Grandma, Yes, he complaines that they hurt alot. My dh went through the same thing when he was growing up. My mil said my ds is growing faster than my dh did at this same age. I have had to give ds motrin sometimes because the pain gets so bad. Sometimes rubbing them or a heating pad has worked to.

Okay--I guess my 12 yr. old is a midget. She's 4'9". I'm 5'5". DH is 5'11". My others are in the 25%tile for height also. Midgets....sorry ..... little people. I keep telling them that they will hit a growth spurt. --I won't show them this thread. Haha

My dd is 10 and she's 4'6". She can wear a size 7 to fit her waist, but needs a size 10 for length. She's long-legged also and hard to find pants for! Now that summer is coming, she can wear the size 7's and just pretend they're capri's! :) ds13 is 5'7", and ds 15 is 5'10". I'm 5'9" and dh is 5'11". Both my dh and I have tall sides of the family and short sides of the family. So we have no clue how tall the kids could end up being. Both boys want to be at LEAST 6 feet tall. dd said she wants to be as tall as I am. So, we shall hope the tall side wins out! :D
