My "First Language Lessons" arrived today! I'm so excited! I'm going to get my son's lessons planned now! I think I'm going to see if I can get my oldest to do it with us too...I think she'd benefit from it! Funny thing is in the last few weeks I've come up with what I'm going to do NEXT year already!!! I'm starting to think about how I can do them together - I've determined I can do Science, History and Bible together with both of them...then they will jsut need to do Math and L/A separately. Well, and I guess spelling...BUT...even if we do the FLL...I could combo SOME of their L/A. That would be a time saver right? I'm writing down my ideas so I don't forget!
I just started using it and so far like it. I never enforced memorization on my 7 year old and now wish I did. DD likes the poems and stories that are in it and I have gotten my preschoolers to talk about the pictures in it. I have been sitting on the couch going over lessons then move to the table for writing.
