My little one is spelling! He's 4 and we've been schooling since mid may and today over dinner he decided to try and spell Ball...and he did. He spelled it B-O-L because phonetically that's how it sounds...he did great! I'm so proud of him, and happy that he's spelling. I had to catch DH though because he wanted to tell him no you spell it Ball...I got him before he corrected the little one! After I explained it to DH he understood why we should let him spell the words like that and so I can't wait to hear what he'll try to spell next!
