Your trip reminds me of mine this past summer.
We went camping (our one and only time last year) and I tried to jump/run out of the camper (we were moving to a prettier spot, hence the hurrying) and fell and cracked open my head. Had a concussion wasn't feeling myself for a few days to say the least ;-) We got the prettier spot though! lol

OUch! well just so you know that was the FIRST time I pulled it out of the socket, and the first time of going to Yellowstone since then we went as a family and had such a glorious time! We hiked around the guisers and lived in bug spray! lol ds had short almost bald type of hair and I remember spraying his head with bug spray and sunscreen at teh same time! Lol
he and I get bit by mosquitos on the head, lol I guess we sweat more there or something?
ANyway, there is so much to see there and we tried to get the whole thing in , staying at two spots and all that. The main thing we wanted to see was a Bear for me!
    I love bears!
But we saw all but the bears we even stopped at the feild with all the tourists lined up to take the pictures of what was a sighting... but no bear that day.
Next time I will see my bear!

We think it will be worth it for us since we live close enough to go several times a year. We have already been into Grand Teton National park two different so that would have been $50 if we paid the $25 entrance fee each time. I don't remember what we paid last summer when we bought it, but this year the Parks Pass is $80. I am also hoping to get to some of the parks in Utah this spring.

Yes, the pass is good at all National Parks as well as Fedral recreation sites that charge an entrance fee.

Oops, I can't post a link yet. But if you do a search for national parks pass you can find info on it.

I know that many states also have passes for theirt state parks.
