Okay has anyone used Bob Jones Heritage Series?????

I am researching for next year and ran across this and it just happens to follow what I am trying to follow for history.

If you have used it what are the highs and lows? And if you did not like it what do you recommend?

Jo Anna, I have the grade two here. I didn't use it because Jeannie is used to more 'current' social studies, for lack of a better word. You know what I mean- communities, different countries and the special things about them. She wants to learn history, though, so when we finish what I have already printed I might give it a try.
