You have to read your signature on the homeschool spot to remember what grade your kids are in!

 

:lol: I had to ask a friend what year Miss 5 was in when I was filling out a form for something

 

I had this same phrase "you might be a homeschooler if" go through my mind this morning with a laugh. Mine would be "you have a bottle of lime juice in the fridge labeled 'science'." You know, that stuff makes awesome volcanoes when mixed with baking soda.

 

You might be a homeschooler if...

You're dining room looks like 3 classrooms exploded on your walls. Oh yea...that's me. lol

You can't leave a teacher supply store without telling your Hubby, "PLEEAAAASSEE! Just 5 more minutes!! I promise we'll go in 5 minutes!!!"

 

You have books in boxes all over your house because you don't have enough bookshelves.

You stay in your pjs until you absolutely must leave the house.

Home ec includes doing your own laundry and making your own lunch.

 

you use the hearth of your fire place as your "office". ya, that me... LOL

Krista... YOU have me pegged.. that's exactly what I do!

 

Your iron is stored in the kitchen, not the laundry room. It is only used for crafts.

 

My favorite, and what may have happened on a couple occasions at my home is: a parent/teacher conference results in increased enrollment.

 

Love it:lol:, took me a minute, but love it.

 

That is the best thing about homeschooling! LOL Chores=school!

I am a little dense sometimes, I have read this post and couldn't figure it out. :lol:

Then I finally asked my husband and he was roaring.....

Now that he explained it to me :roll: we had a really good laugh.......

 

We've had two enrolments thanks to parent/teacher conferences and tripled our school roll :lol:

You might be homeschooling if you go to Splash Planet and Rainbows End to "study physics"

You've spent the afternoon posting pictures all over facebook of a friend's stolen 1/2 scale model trebuchet.

 

you pack up to head out to The Creation Museum spur of the moment to study dinosaurs... in the middle of the week!

you travel 6 hours one way to pick up German curriculum and hit up the Air Force Museum while there to do a field trip on wars and planes.

you decide a trip to Silver Dollar City this fall for their demonstrating craftsmen will be a great US History field trip... with some roller coasters and ziplining on the side (PE? ). And maybe a Titanic Museum field trip thrown in for good measure, you know, since we're there already.
