Some of you from abc might remember the little girl (2 years old) I spoke of who came into the emergency room one night last April and was pronounced dead. Anyway, circumstances around her death were questionable to say the least and last night when I was watching the news, a report that her mother and step father were charged (a year and more later) with criminal negligence causing death was made. Could we pray for the family? This has been a long haul for them and is not over by a long shot. The other siblings in this family remain in foster care. Details are going to end up coming out that are going to crush them all. They are not saved... Brenda
What's the whole scoop on the story? Since I'm new I really don't know the story, just curious. Hopefully justice will be served.
While I was working the night shift one day last April, we were called to respond to a code that was coming in to the emergency room. It ended up being a little girl, two years old and she did not respond to everything that was done. Her mother delivered another liuttle girl that same night night. Anyway, the preliminary casue for death was given as crib death (until the exact cause could be given after the autopsy). In the weeks that followed this young girls death, the stories and rumors that circulated were wild. We (those of us who went to a de-briefing session) were told the cause of death was a perforated bowel and there were also other things...I won't go there - it still makes me sick. Anyway, it's all in God's hands and He will look after it all. Sorry for the lack of too many details - it just makes me sick. Brenda
