If you have not checked this out, you MUST! We have been 'watching' for two days now (on and off, of course) and have already seen Wildebeests, an Elephant, some kind of antelope (?), Zebras, various birds, and Klipspringers (small antelope). It is amazing! Oh yeah, the site is at www.wavelit.com. You can also go to http://www.sa-venues.com/wildlife/default.htm to learn more about the animals you may be seeing.

ENJOY! And, pass it on! :)

I saw some wildebeests coming and going. There were about 5 of them, and one had a baby! It had long spindly legs and was trotting and jumping along to keep up with mama! Soooo cute!

    Thankyou for sharing this!!!

I can't seem to pull up a picture, it keeps coming up as "medai inactive". Do you think that dial-up is a problem or am I doing something wrong?!

I didn't see anything other than the waterhole itself. I don't know if it's the slow dial-up or the fact that it's dark there now.

Its dark there now, we checked it earlier this morning, we did see some birds flying and this morning it appeared there was a geraffe in the back ground laying down, but its head was up. you can hear things if you have your sound up, on the bear one all I've seen is a mouse.

I didn't see anything in the bear one. The hummingbird one said it was inactive, and I never saw a zebra when I checked the watering hole one! :( But the wildebeests were cool! :)

I just turned it on to see if 'anyone was thirsty' (ha ha), but didn't see any animals as it's dark there...BUT, I did get to see a shooting star! Cool.

Yeah, I looked at the bear one too...they're probably snoozin' right now, so I'm sure we won't get much activity there! LOL.

I think those are bugs. We watched it for awhile and it kept happening, so we came up with a conclusion that they were some type of bug flying around the camera area.

We saw those "bugs" or whatever, too. At first I wondered if they were bats? But I think it is probably bugs.

We saw the baboons today. They are fun to watch. We also saw...I can't think of what they are called...kinda like deer. Uhhhhhh.....gazelles? Maybe that's it. We missed the zebra's, too. That would've been cool to see. I am not sure but I was up in the middle of the night, again, and thought I saw a hippo in the water. I didn't see anything at first, then all of a sudden, you could see something half way out of the water. Then after a minute it went back under. I figured it was a hippo???

I thought they were shooting stars at first too, but I think they are bugs. If you look awhile, they are all over the place. That bummed me out. Cool site though! I'll have to go there when the time is more active and show Tanner. He'll get a kick out of it, he loves animals!

It's a little after midnight there right now, and I couldn't see any animals, but I saw the moon shining and reflecting in the water.

It is now 4:00 AM there. When we left from AWANAS, you could hear the crickets more than anything. Now that we're home, we hear a lot of early birds. A totally different sound.
