    Lorna~
You are just TOO sweet! I wish I had some extra money laying around to send you a "tip"! LOL Thanks.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that, thanks to some allergy problems, I went back to wearing my glasses last year (after 15 years of contacts). Boy, did that take some adjustment on my part~ because, to be perfectly honest, wearing contacts was probably a bit of a vanity thing for me. But, I'm used to it now, and have learned to accept it (at least until laser surgery comes down a bit more in price!)

Oh, and my hair~ it's EXTREMELY thick! Any of you with thin hair~ let me know~ next time I go for a trim, I'll gather some up to send your way! LOL Ashley has inherited my thick mop~ and she has recently figured out how much easier it is to wear it a bit shorter (hers is shoulder-length). I like long hair, but when I try to let it grow I start to get headaches from all the weight! And, trust me, I don't need any extra pounds on the scales!

When I started this thread my thinking was, we talk or write to eachother everyday. I thought it would be nice just to have a vision of what we all looked like. This just goes to show that God made each one of us different and unique, but we are all perfect for his master plan. It doesn't matter what size we are. We are to love ourselves as God loves us. Look on the inside and you will see a wonderful person.
I love each one of you. I also consider everyone here as my friend. :D
Jesus tells us to Love your neighbor as we love ourselves:love: . How can we if we don't love ourselves. You are all very beautiful from your descriptions.

    Your Friend,
    Vicky

Heidi in the picture I saw I just loved your hair. I could tell it was thick.

Vicky, Thanks for being so nice to each of us. Yes, God did make us all different and that was great wisdom. I would hate for each of your husbands to fight over me. LOL
That is a big big joke.

Oh my! A description of me! I'll try my hardest...

I am about 5'5. I have medium length hair (a couple inches past my shoulders) and it's brown with blonde and red mixed highlights. Although the roots are starting to show I will have to get them redone soon. I have long bangs (think Jennifer Aniston's bangs)...not 80's ish, but pushed off the sides. I have naturally spiral curly hair but I hate it so I straighten it with a straightener. Nobody can tell I have curls and they look at me crazy when I tell them I have curly hair. However, since I don't do my hair every day from being home, It's thankfully not dried out or fried.

I have hazel-ish eyes, but it says brown on my drivers license for some reason. I think they use to be brown at some point, but not dark. I weigh about 125 pounds but wear a size 6/7 because I do have the post baby hips. I use to have a flat belly when I was younger. Being a pom pom dancer gave me lots of toning, but since then (10 years ago) I have not really been a fan of excercise;). My tummy isn't flabby, but I do have the post baby flab that I've never gotten rid of...sigh. I wear a size 8 shoe and dress for the day. During the week I dress down (wearing a t-shirt and sport pants now)...I don't have anyone to impress. However, I will not walk out of the house without eyeliner and mascara on and the hair done in some way, even if it's just a ponytail. I get the occasional pimple around "that time" and have to cover those up as well before exiting the house. I'm very self conscious. I usually dress in jeans, dress boots/dress sandals, and a top during the weekends. I usually put on a little more makeup during the weekend...eyeliiner, mascara, eyeshadow, and lipstick/lipgloss. I hate blush and doing my nails. I just don't like keeping up on the nail thing.

I do have a small scar on the right side of my chin from where I got bit by a dog when I was 11. I had about 75 stitches and the dog (a huge Chow) literally ripped half my face off. You really can't even tell anymore it's there from me growing through the years...and the surgeon did an AWESOME job at stitching me. Think of Tina Fey's from SNL...it's comparable but on the opposite side. The only thing I really don't care about myself are my teeth. They are white and well taken care of, but I would like braces sooner or later in life to straighten them out more in front. I have semi-fangs because my eye teeth never came down all the way.

    There's me in a nutshell:)!

Lorna, I think it'd be Becky they'd be fighting over...or at least over Becky's description of herself, LOL! I guarantee you they'd sure not be fighting over ME!!!

I had bought the American Girl book for Rachael. "The Care & Keeping of YOU". One thing I really appreciated from it:

"Most images of women you see on TV just aren't realistic. Look around. REAL women's bodies look like your mom's, your teacher's, your next-door neighbor's."

    Jackie~
    That's a great quote.
Ashley gets the magazine "Discovery Girls" and they ran an article in there awhile back where they showed you step-by-step what they do to pictures in magazines to make people look better~ they'd start out with the original picture, then show how they can make someone look taller, thinner, have tanner skin, etc. So, basically, it was telling you that "what you see is NOT what you get" even in magazines (not just on tv). I thought that was pretty neat. With that magazine, what you see IS what you get~ all the girls in there are just regular girls.
Yep, according to Becky's description, all the guys will definitely be fighting for her. I mean, who wouldn't fight for Farrah?! We better keep them away from her!
    Back off, Barbie! (LOL!!!)

Jackie, that's so perfect. It's funny, when I think of a loving woman, my idea is short, smiley, and you might say, a bit volumptuous. :) Perfectly Huggable! That is how most of the women in my family are--I might have my mom's nose, but everything else must have come from my dad's line somewhere! My children don't seem to mind, though--they love to cuddle skinny-mom just the same. ;)

being an actress. I can appreciate What you see isn't what you get. When you go on camera, If you don't wear makeup , you look washed out and pale. The camera adds 5 pounds. If you are short, the camera angle looks up at you. Look at Chuck Norris. If you are a model you need to be at least 5'9 and only now are they just beginning to use handicapped people or heavy set people. When I was younger in my twenties I was skinny enough but I was told I would never get work because of my limp. I started working in cable access and produced my own program. Now when I sit in on an ocasional class. I am treated with respect.
I am FAT TOOTHLESS OVER 40 AND PROUD of who I AM.

5' 5 1/2" (gotta get that extra 1/2 inch in there), short brown hair, brown eyes (which look hazel when I'm teary). I'm over weight right now (by how much I won't say). I wear glasses and have a small scar (hardly visible) on my nose from chicken pocks when I was younger and a couple freckles. Both ears are pierced (twice)...

Wow you ladies give great details that I didnt think of. Piercings, scars and all. I also have a scar that I dont think most people have ever taken notice of under by bottom lip. Like most here, it is an injury from childhood.
I am having a ball reading about everyone!

wouldn't it be fun if we could all have lunch somewhere, with out the kids. We would be the "loudest" table with all the stories and laughing.

Brenda, I have one of those chicken pox scars too in my forehead!!! I didn't listen to mom very well...

I also have pierced ears, only once. I have glasses but only wear them during the week while I'm home...then I wear contacts on the weekends.

Oh, I also have a big birthmark on my inner thigh. It looks like a discoloration of the skin...like a huge freckle. If you were to shave me bald, you'd also see one on my head.

Two scars! One (actually two close together) on the back of my left hand. My little brother and I were fighting in the back seat of the car, Dad (driving) turned and just kind of smacked at us. He got the back of my hand, accidently scratching me. I, of course, picked the scabs and it scarred. So that's my proof of my abusive parents, LOL!

My other one is on my foot, and yes, it was "my" fault, too! I was about 14, and was chopping wood on a camping trip, barefooted. Missed the wood and hit my foot. It didn't hurt, and hardly bled at all. I was so thankful I didn't cut my foot off. Knew Mom would have a fit, so I didn't tell her. It got infected, all red and pussy looking, by the time she saw it. Asked me WHAT HAPPENED!!! I don't know!!! So she assumed I had jumped off this floating dock in the lake and cut it without knowing it. I didn't tell her otherwise. She finally learned the truth about ten years later, LOL!

Oh, Crystal, you can just get your belly button pierced, and then you can wear your bikini, hiding the scar behind a big, dangly something! That'd be cute, especially if you were trying to nurse Averie at the same time!
